Chef Thesana
Chef Thasana's passion for cooking began at the age of 12, when she helped her mother grind and roast spices in Bangkok, Thailand. With over 20 years of experience, this self taught chef established Tara Thai kitchens in Virginia and Maryland. Shortly after, she opened Miss Siam in Waldorf, Maryland where she was praised for serving "Food fit for a King...and commoners too". Thasana's culinary skills then led her to become the head chef at Heritage Asia. In 2013, Thasana moved to Sacramento, California and is now the chef and co-owner of the restaurant, A Bakery and Thai Food. Thesana offers a menu of traditional Thai dishes and is dedicated to serving food with a unique taste and abundant flavors. Thasana's creations come from the heart and a true love for cooking.
